Andrea Young has been planning and implementing winning marketing strategies for energy companies, businesses and nonprofits for more than 20 years. She has a proven track record of helping businesses create opportunity, increase awareness, and ultimately revenue, by communicating with existing and potential customers in both the traditional and digital marketing space. 

Young is a talented communicator who enjoys helping clients create customer-focused marketing to achieve their objectives and generate the greatest return on their investment. From integrated marketing campaigns to reach people however they access information, to editing correspondence prior to publication, she's your go-to person for results. 

Andrea's diverse background includes experience producing an award-winning radio talk show at Kansas City's NPR affiliate KCUR, to honing her skills as a communications associate at the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation & Affiliated Trusts, one of the largest Community Foundations in the nation. As a member of the communications team Andrea was involved in national media relations when the Foundation received the gift of a Major League Baseball team, the Kansas City Royals, from owner Ewing Kauffman upon his death, to ensure his beloved team remained in Kansas City. Andrea attributes her high professional standards to time spent at the Foundation as a young career professional fortunate to witness the leadership of two talented and dynamic women who served as president and communications director at the time. As director of marketing for a leading energy consulting firm, Andrea directed the marketing efforts of dozens of clients and grew the department over her tenure. She's led growth for a leading national energy trade publication, and assisted energy companies and entrepreneurs coast-to-coast achieve their marketing goals. With a heart for the nonprofit community, Andrea also served on the board of Support Kansas City (SKC), an organization that helps local nonprofits with limited resources by providing reduced-rate support services to support a sustainable nonprofit community. Andrea chaired the marketing and public relations committee and the special events committee and coordinated the prestigious Excellence in Nonprofit Leadership Awards. Andrea is proud of the media coverage she has garnered for others throughout the years and has been a regular contributor to energy publications and a sought-after speaker.
